Assalamu ‘Alaykum (Peace be With You).
Whatever the type of library you are intending to start, or if you have already started a collection, trying to get better organized; then this website offers resources that will assist you in getting there. Most of the information is geared toward setting up a small library and is written so that almost anyone can understand.
Content on the site is based on my experience as a librarian. But also included are links to valuable online resources that will assist in various aspects of creating and manging a library. In addition, you will find information specific to Islamic materials such as publishers of Islamic works, Islamic collections in libraries around the world and issues surrounding the classification of Islamic library materials.
